The Steering Committee Meeting of the Road Transport Workers' Section held on 22-24 May 2006 in Sweden unanimously agreed to organise the 10th International Road Transport Campaign in 2006 under the slogan, Organising Globally - Building Union Power.

Following the successful Action Week organised in October 2005 and in order to continue to allow many unions to organise a wide range of activities, both nationally and regionally the 2006 Campaign will once again be an Action Week.  The meeting set the dates as:
9-15 October 2006
